Obituary

Mrs. Betty Ann Pullen, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, November 23, 2020, at Hamilton Medical Center. Betty was born February 7, 1936 in Whitfield County, the daughter of the late Benny J and Myrtle Mae Massingill Haley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lewis Pullen Sr; daughter, Peggy Sue Green; brother, Bobby Haley, Billy and Nancy Haley, Joe Stoker. Betty was a member of Hill City Baptist Church. In her spare time she loved to garden and watching Braves baseball.

Betty is survived by her son, Freddy (Donna) Pullen of Dalton, GA; daughter, Sherry (Dennis) Parker of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Dale (Yvette)  Pullen, Wendy Lloyd, Brian (Jo Bell ) Parker, Shasta (Robert) Campbell, Michael ( Heather ) Hamby; great-grandchildren, Bailey Pullen, Gunner Pullen, Hunter Lloyd, Hannah Lloyd, Noah Campbell; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Stoker. A very special friend who spent time with her daily, Carrol.

Service to celebrate the life of Betty Ann Pullen, will be held Friday November 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose chapel with Pastor Wayne Marcus officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hill City Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday November 27, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
