Mrs. Betty Sue Mulkey age 74 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Sunday September 20, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 12, 1945 in Resaca, GA, a daughter of the late John David and Opal Greeson Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Mulkey, brothers, Charles Smith, Bobby Smith, Ricky Smith, Joe Smith.

She is survived by her sons, John Mulkey, James Mulkey; daughter, Loretta Howell all of Dalton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and CM Higgins of Calhoun, GA; grandchildren, Michael, Malcom, Meagan, DeDe; great grandchildren, Breella, Kelsey, Kaylee; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Sunday November 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from the New Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Larry Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
