Ms. Betty McNett, age 86, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday November 11, 2013 at the local hospital. Betty was born May 4, 1927 in Germany, a daughter of the late Franz and Berta Silberberg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Emery McNett and her sons, Michael and Mark McNett. She was a retired Executive Secretary for the Dana Corporation and was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine McNett of Dalton, GA; daughter-in-law, Kathy McNett of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Heather, Todd, Amber, Nicole and Dawn; seven great-grandchildren.

In compliance with her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no service.
