Mrs. Betty Marie McGill, age 87, of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life, Tuesday February 27, 2024 at Ridgewood Manor surrounded by her loving family.

Betty was born December 20, 1936, in Chatsworth, Georgia, a daughter of the late William M. "Bill" Saylors and Ethel Ledford Saylors.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Clifford McGill and her daughters, Deborah Ann "Debbie" McGill and Teresa Lynn McGill and a grandson, Kelly Plott.

Betty is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Connie McGill of Dalton, GA, and Kenny and Lisa McGill of Crandall, GA; sisters, Carolyn Qualls and Janie Gallman both of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, Jason McGill, Calista Davis, Anna McGill, Stephen McGill, Douglas McGill, Melissa Lee, Chris Plott, and Mandy Cooper O'Brien; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was laid to rest beside her beloved husband and family at Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia.
