Mrs. Betty Anne Jones, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Erlanger Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1952 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of the late Wilbur Clinton and Edith Marie Bates. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Jones, brother, Ronnie Bates.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Matthew Brooks of Rocky Face, GA; stepdaughter, Lisa Rose of Ohio; grandchildren, Alisha Hicks, Elijah Hicks of Dalton, GA, Zenon Lopez, Renee Stalnaker; great grandchildren, Delilah Hicks, Charles Lee Stalnaker, Rennon Joe Stalnaker; other family and friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Anne Jones will be held Sunday April 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Jessie Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Elijah Hicks, John Bourff, Jerry Carroll, and Bobby Stephens serving as pallbearers.
