Mrs. Betty Louise Greeson, age 91, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, July 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 27, 1935 in Chattooga County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother Mamie Lambert Dawson, sister and brother-in-law Kathryn and Randall Davenport, father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Rubye Greeson, brother-in-law Terry Greeson and Larry Reece.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wayne Greeson of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Diane Greeson of Dalton, GA, Donna and Jeff Hale of Calhoun, GA; son, Roger Greeson; sister, Ruby Reece of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Jennifer and Drew Parker, Julie and Chris Reagan, Cameron Greeson, Ashley Hale and JM Medina; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Rochelle and Charles Weaver, Sheila Brown; five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Louise Greeson will be held Saturday July 18, 2026 a 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Scott Hale officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
