Mrs. Betty S. Crump, age 81 of Resaca, Georgia, departed this life Thursday evening, August 22, 2013 at her home. She was born April 12, 1932 in Dalton,GA a daughter of the late William Jess and Zella Bryson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Albert Crump, son, Roger Crump, brother, Jay Bryson, sisters; Lillian Sanders, Beatrice West, Lucille Wolfe and Ruby Workman.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Alice (Bonnie ) Crump of Loomis, CA; grandchildren, Guy Swinehart of Loomis, CA, Alicia Crump of Citrus Heights, CA, Lyndsey Crump of Dalton, GA, Casey Crump of Dalton, GA; great grandson, Evan Eggeman of Citrus Heights, CA; sisters, Martha Burger of Tampa, FL, Barbara Gallo of Delray Beach, FL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Debbie Crump; nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty S. Crump will be held Thursday August 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Minister Brett Yeager officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00p.m. Until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
