Ms. Bessie Rich McClure, age 69 of Dalton, GA, departed this life Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the local hospital. She was born December 13, 1953 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late S.L. and Dollie Pauline Summey Rich. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Selmer Rich, Warren Randall Rich, A.J. Rich, Grady Rich, sisters Mary Lee Massingill, Doshie Wilbanks, Mauline Rich, Violet Jean Whitener.

She is survived by her sons, Rodney and Danielle McClure of Tunnel Hill, GA, Dewayne McClure of Dalton, GA; special niece, Holly Green of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Tommy and Rosa Rich, Bill and Sandra Rich of Chatsworth, GA; sisters, Edna Adams, Wilma Bradley of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Preston McClure, Tyler McClure, Cody McClure, Madison Rolen, Aiden Rolen, Carter McClure, Miley McClure, Lindsay Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Bessie Rich McClure will be held Tuesday October 10, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with. Interment will follow in the New Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.
