Mrs. Bernice Betty Lou Prevatt, age 90 of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life Friday, November 21, 2025. She was born March 28, 1935 in Atlanta. Georgia, a daughter of the late Roy and Annie Henagar Young. She was also preceded in death by her husband Richard Prevatt, son Joseph Chester Duncan, brothers Leroy Young, James Young, sister Ruby Phillips.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Frankie Duncan of Dalton, GA, brother, Larry Young of Lafayette, GA; grandchildren, Shawn and Felicia Duncan of Ranger, GA, Robert Wesley Duncan of Dalton, GA; great grandchildren, Shane Duncan, Shaylah Duncan; nieces and nephews.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Bernice Betty Lou Prevatt will be held Tuesday November 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
