Mr. Bernardo Lopez, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, April 4, 2018. Bernardo was born April 28, 1968 in Mexico. He was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother Ema Mendez Reyna; wife Angelica Rocio Lopez.

He is survived by his sons, Omar Bernardo Lopez and Alan Eduardo Lopez both of Dalton, GA; father, Elpidio Lopez Patlan of Mexico; brothers, Guadalupe Lopez, Carlos Lopez, Manolo Lopez all of Dalton, GA; sisters, Istela Lopez of Dalton, GA, Altagracia Lopez of Chattanooga, TN; nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. from the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Duvan Gonzalez officiating. He will be laid to rest at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with his family and close friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday.
