Mr. Benjamin Lopez Martinez, age 74 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday September 29, 2022 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born September 10, 1948 in Mexico a son of the late Nicolas Lopez and Celia Martinez.

He is survived by his wife Altagracia Becerra; children, Mario and Maria Becerra, Alejandro and Juana Lopez, Rosalva Lopez and Rogelio Cantreras, Marcella Lopez and Santiago Aguilar, Benjamin Lopez and Erika Sierra, Nicolas Lopez and Cristina Bautizta, Juan Manuel Lopez Becerra and Crystal Lopez, Miguel Guadalupe Lopez and Leonor Medrano; brothers and sisters, Irma, Artemio, Efrain, Ramiro, Silvia, Guillermina, Glafira, Leonel, Justavo, Vidal; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held will be held Tuesday October 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father John Pham officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
