Ms. Becky Ruth Cochran, age 56, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence. Becky was born March 3, 1958 in Orange, TX, a daughter of the late Joe Dean and Agnes Sue Harwood Long. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Jo Long, grandparents, Macie Harwood, Harvey and Pearl Long.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Pam Cochran of Dalton, GA, Krista and Stanley Dyer of Chatsworth, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Oxford, Vickie and Todd Brown of Dalton, GA; five grandchildren, Taya Cochran who was also a special caregiver, Aaron Gribble, Justin Gribble, Tyrell Cochran, Baylee Brown; special uncle and aunt, Larry and Cathy Harwood of Dalton, GA; special friends, Tammy Bartley and Mary Cochran of Dalton, GA; nieces and nephews, David and Miranda Oxford, Scott and Crystal Brown, Felicia and Chris Bradford, Jeremy Oxford, Jenn Stuckey; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Becky Ruth Cochran will be held Tuesday April 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Tim Swinney and Reverend Billy Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Donnell McMichael, David Oxford, Scotty Brown, Eric Harwood, Larry Harwood, and Chris Bradford serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday,
