Mrs. Beatrice Lillie Starks Hibbs Burgess, 88, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, June 30, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born February 27, 1931 in Cohutta, GA a daughter of the late William Pinkney and Josie Hannah Ogle Starks. She was also preceded in death by her son, Randy Hibbs, son-in-law, Richard Diffee, and several deceased Ogle and Starks brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Hibbs, Tony Hibbs; daughters and sons-in-law, Gladys Diffee, Kim and Tim Brown all of Dalton, GA, Katrina and Grady Shiver of Thomasville, GA; several sisters, grandchildren, Corey Brown, Kayla Brown, Krista Shiver Owens, Randi Shiver Such, Derek Hibbs, Keisha Hibbs, Brandon Hibbs, Allison Hibbs, Lisa Norton, Kevin Brown; great grandchildren, Kaleb Green, Kayden Ferrell, Jadie Waine Such, Jaxten Such, Miloh Lewis, Celeste Hernandez, Eli Brown; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beatrice Lillie Starks Hibbs Burgess will be held Wednesday July 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Frank Laster officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Inurnment will be in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
