Beatrice Gribble age 82, of Dalton, GA departed this life Friday June 26, 2020 at local hospital. Beatrice was born September 7, 1937 in Dutton, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Mancal Bailey and Esther Miller Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Gribble; sisters, Clara Burns, Frances Marcus, Lorene Bailey; brother, Louie Traffanstead, son-in-law, Tony Umstead. Beatrice was a member of Crosspointe Church.

Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Paula (Lamar) Saylors of Chatsworth, GA., Deborah Umstead of Huntington, TN, son, Dewayne Gribble; sister, Riney and Billy Gribble of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Jeremy Davenport, Kurt Davenport, Natasha Cawthon; Lauren Gribble, Bailey Gribble; great-grandchildren, Hannah Davenport, Tamara Davenport, Kody Davenport, Matthew Davenport, Jaxon Davenport, McKenzie Davenport, Max Cawthon and Bear Cawthon and several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Beatrice will be held, Tuesday June 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Bruce Edwards officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday June 30, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
