Barry Lee Suggs, son of Alvin and Patsy Suggs, was born on October 21, 1974, in Calhoun Georgia. Barry spent many of his later years living in Bartow County Georgia while working and building up his construction company, Suggs Flooring, with his nephew Chris Suggs. While Barry was working in South Carolina on April 26, 2024, he unexpectedly passed away. Barry was a father to four children: Teala Suggs, Julian Suggs, Bianca Suggs, Cade Suggs; a stepfather to Ashley Huddleston; and a grandfather to Zyla and Zyler Lane, and Christian Suggs.  Barry was a devoted father and well loved friend to many. He spent his final years as a devout christian getting closer with God and his family, and playing lots of guitar. Barry will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 2nd 2024, at Assembly of Faith Memorial Gardens, where his parents and siblings are also buried. The family will receive friends May 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel.
