Mr. Barry Dale Sales, age 57, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday morning, September 7, 2026, at his home, surrounded by the love and memories of those who meant so much to him.

Dale was born January 4, 1969, in Dalton, Georgia. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend who cherished his family and treasured the time he shared with his loved ones. His kindness, love, and devotion to his family will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lennis Hawkins Spence and John Howard Sales; his nephew, Johnny Sales; and his grandparents, Melvin Rufus and Vena Sales and John and Annie Hawkins.

Dale was formerly employed by Durkin Enterprises.

He is survived by his children, Ashley and Abby Sales and Bradley Ridley, all of Dalton, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Mira and Greg Witt of Tunnel Hill, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell and Eunice Sales of Hephzibah, Georgia, Lail Sales of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Telitha Sales of Cleveland, Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Chandra Sales, Evan Sales, Emma Sales, Kristen and Jonathan Cochran, and Gregory Witt, Jr.; great-niece, Madison Cochran; aunts, Barbara Ann Trimble of Rocky Face, Georgia, Ruth Ann Ralston of Dalton, Georgia, Hilda Sue Painter of Lexington, South Carolina, and Lee Sales-Westbrook of Ellijay, Georgia; along with many cousins and friends.

The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Willow Brook Hospice for their exceptional love, care, and compassion.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Barry Dale Sales will be held Friday morning, September 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Reverend Ricky Spence officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening and after 9:00 a.m. Friday morning until the service hour.
