Mrs. Barbara Crump White, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, May 22, 2014 at her residence.Barbara was born March 1, 1935 in Ringgold, Georgia, a daughter of the late William Andrew and Mary Ruth Morrison Crump.She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-nine years, Bradley Hoyt White, Sr. and her son, Bradley White, Jr. and her brothers, John Crump, David Crump, Tommy Crump and John Freeze.

Barbara was a graduate of Westside High School and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church at Villanow.She was a retired from Modern Marketing where she worked as a bookkeeper for over twenty five years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Luke Shipman of Dalton, GA; grandson and his wife, Chris and Lisa Shipman; great-grandson, Jack Henry Shipman of Layton, UT; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Crump White will be held Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Benny Price officiating.She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the White Cemetery in Villanow, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 p.m. noon Sunday until the service hour.
