Mrs. Barbara Nottingham, age 74, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was born September 23, 1943 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Maude Geneva Parr and Walter Edward Garmony Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Edward Garmony Jr., sisters, Margie Coker, Marilyn Smith, Ruth Garmony.

She is survived by her husband of fifty eight years, Mack H. Nottingham of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Angela Nottingham; grandchildren, Zackerie and Kate Nottingham, Haley Nottingham, Zoe Nottingham; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and George Norris all of Dalton, GA; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Nottingham will be held Thursday June 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Varnell Cemetery with Anthony Holsomback, Jason Yocum, Mike Babb Jr. Randy Roberson, Jeff Roberson and Scott Wright serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
