Mrs. Barbara Faye Meadors, age 73, of Tunnel Hill, GA., departed this life, Saturday March 26, 2016 at the local hospital. Barbara was born August 14, 1942 in Corbin, KY, a daughter of the late Clarence and Carrie Head Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Wilson, sisters, Dessie Bunch and Mary Lawson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Meadors of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles R. and Anna Meadors of Tunnel Hill, GA, Darrell and Kimberly Meadors of Ringgold, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Steve Ellis of Tunnel Hill, GA, Lora Dee and David Sluder of Chatsworth, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Diana Wilson, Roy Wilson, Ray and Ruby Wilson, Boyd and Elaine Wilson, Billy and Cathy Wilson, Don and Phyllis Wilson; sister, Margaret May all of Corbin, KY; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Faye Meadors will be held Wednesday March 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with David Sluder and J.T. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Travis Ellis, Charles D. Meadors, Kyler Jones, Levi Newby, Cody Penson, Tyler Wyatt, Kevin Cornette, Chas Richardson, Zachariah Pentz and Jacob Miller serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
