Mrs. Barbara Helen Jones, age 81, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the local hospital. She was born October 19, 1938 in Cherokee County, GA a daughter of the late Jake and Hessie West. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Edgar Jones, sons, Johnny Jones, Joseph Edgar Jones, sister, Anette Shelton, brothers, Tommy West, Jackie West, Bennie West.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Anita Jones, Jeff and Kelli Jones, Joyce Jones all of Dalton, GA; sister, Shirley Tribble of Dawsonville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Alice West, Charles West, WL and Christine West of Canton, GA, Joe and Mary West of Cumming, GA; seven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Helen Jones will be held Saturday January 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Delbert Haynes and Johnny Joey Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Dawnville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
