Mrs. Barbara Ann Faith, age 71, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday morning, January 31, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving husband and her children and grandchildren. Barbara was born June 1, 1943 in Dalton, Georgia. She was a 1961 graduate of Valley Point High School and worked many years with her husband at John Faith Carpets.
Barbara's greatest joys in life were spending time and making special memories with her family. There are no words to express how much she meant to her family and friends. She was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vesta Frazier Pinson, her father, Arlie "Curley" Frazier, and brothers, Don and Jack Frazier.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Johnny Daniel Faith; her children and spouses, son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Scott and Jodie Brantley Faith; daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie Ann and Scott Erwin, Heather Leah and Jeff Bramblett; grandchildren, Hayley Kathryn Faith, Brantley Lauren Faith, Hayden Daniel Faith, John Warren Erwin, Mary Faith Erwin, William Scott Erwin, Wyatt David Erwin, Anna Joy Bramblett, Benjamin Thomas Bramblett, Ellie Hope Bramblett; sisters, Jo Greohrs, Laverne Davis Dobbs, Delores Tidwell and Mary Lynn Padgett; brothers, Bob Frazier, and Ben Frazier; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Marie Faith, Myrtie and Gene Collins, Ida Nell and Lamar Jenkins; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Ann Faith will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at Dug Gap Baptist Church with Reverend Jether Cochran, Reverend Jeff Bramblett and Dr.Scott Faith officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Redwine Cove Cemetery. Hayden Faith, John Erwin, Wyatt Erwin, Will Erwin, Scott Erwin, Ben Bramblett, Jeff Bramblett, Rodney Rowe, Joey Jenkins and Scott Erwin will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
