Mrs. Barbara Edwards, age 69, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Friday, October 16, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was born February 5, 1951 in Calhoun, GA a daughter of the late Johnnie W. Davis and Betty Ann Baker Dinning. She was a member of the Barrett Road Church of God in Calhoun, GA.

She is survived by her husband of fifty on years, Albert Edwards of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Aimee and Rex Lowe of Calhoun, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Ann and Dan Davis of Dalton, GA; grandson, Jason and Victoria Henson of Calhoun, GA; aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.

A private family funeral service will be held Thursday October 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel with Pastor Norris Sexton officiating. Interment service will follow at the Haven of Rest Memorial Park with Jason Henson, Michael Edwards, Scott Edwards and Darrin Edwards serving as pallbearers. Hugh Don Tate and Winston Black will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family has ask if anyone wants to attend the graveside service to please have on a mask and observe social distancing.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
