Mrs. Barbara Elaine Dixon , age 68 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, April 16, 2022 at her residence. She was born April 29, 1953 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Glenn and Lois Long Headrick. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Shipman, grandson, Storm Curl.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Dixon of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Sydney Curl; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Charlene Headrick; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Erwin Manis, Dianne and Alan Foster, Debbie Headrick; stepmother, Lucille Headrick; granddaughter, Brittani Curl; great grandson, Jayden Curl all of Dalton, GA; special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Elaine Dixon will be held Tuesday April 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Interment will follow in the Amazing Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.
