Ms. Ava Sue Lanford, age 68, departed this life, Monday July 12, 2021 at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center. Ava was born May 10, 1953 in Cleveland, TN, the daughter of the late Clyde and Louise Gregory Landord. She was preceded in death by her son, Gabe Calhoun; brothers, Don Lanford and Doug Lanford.

Ava is survived by her daughter, Tamera Hilliker; grandchildren, Josh and Veronica Hilliker, Lilly Hilliker; great grand-children, Rebekah Rheal, Logan Grant, Ariel Grant and Niko Brokaw; special friend of 20 plus years, Kim Oates.

Crypt side service will be held Friday July 16, 2021 at 11:00 am from Lakewood Memory Garden East.

Family and friends will gather at Ponders Brainerd Chapel at 10:00 am on Friday so we call all make our way to the cemetery to celebrate the life of Ava. We will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am.
