Ms. Atha Greta Wright age 88 of Ringgold, Georgia departed this life Thursday March 29, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 10, 1930 in Letcher County, Kentucky a daughter of the late General Grant and Verlie Durbin Phillips. She also preceded in death by children, Raymond Everett Roberts, Seronda Kay Phillips, Larry Virgil Roberts, and eleven of thirteen siblings.

She is survived by her children, Glenn (and Jeannie) Roberts, Judy Stanley, Thelma (and Rickey) Truss, Lester (and Melissa) Phillips, Corbin Wayne (and Tina) Wright, Jeffrey (and Michelle) Wright, Greta Wright; daughter-in-law Sharon Roberts; grandchildren, Paula Rae Roberts, Kristin Robert Quillen, Brenna Wallhauser, Jennifer Roberts, Jason Roberts, Anita Stanley, Everett Fleming, Rob (and Angie) Adams, Lester Paul Phillips, Jr, Nikita June Phillips, Sally Lauren Holmes, Allison Grace ( and Chris) Queen, Larry Benjamin Phillips, Micah Ray Phillips, Jason Wayne Wright, Joshua Terrell Wright, Megan Koren Wagnon, Ashley (and Chris ) Cooper, William Eric (and Amber) James, Sydney Elise Wright, Sophia Grace Wright, Caleb Sikwaya Wright, Sarah Lawson-Vineyard; great grandchildren, Sharaye Jean Whitaker, Alexis Jeana Gibson, Isaiah Malone Tyree, Mercer Brack Quillen, June Karyn Quillen, Arwen Adams, Declean Phillips, August Stanley, Monty Lane Stanley, Serenity Amelia-Clair Holmes, Landon, Jordyn and Emerson Cooper, Archer, Hayden and Oliver James, Cameron Jeremiah Wright; brothers, Ben Phillips and Carl Phillips.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Atha Greta Wright will be held Monday April 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens with Ricky Truss, Lester Phillips, Corbin Wright, Jeff Wright, Glenn Roberts, Rob Adams and Paul Phillips serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
