Mr. Arvil Ray Perian, age 86, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Monday, March 3, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 12, 1939 in Benton, TN, a son of the Arvil and Evelyn Perian. He was also preceded in death by his wife Christine Hopper Perian, brother William Perian, sister Diane Perian, Phyllis Perian, brother-in-law, Eugene Hopper, sister-in-law Dorothy Hopper.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Annabel Perian of Davenport, FL, Travis and Cara Perian of Bloomington, IN, Kristopher Perian of Dalton, GA; daughter, Angela Perian of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Ashley Perian, Cordelle Perian, Curtis Perian, Zakary Perian, Hazel Perian; two great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Robert Hopper of Gainesville, GA, Howard Hopper of Dalton, GA, JW Hopper of Chatsworth, GA; sisters-in-law, Betty Justice of Calhoun, GA, Wanda and Bobby Noland of Dalton, GA, Kathy and Ricky Robinson of Cedartown, GA, Mary Lynn and Ernest Harris of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Arvil Ray Perian will be held Tuesday March 11, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Evangelist Eric Justice  officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
