Mr. Artie Lee Long, age 68, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 20, 1957, in Oliver Springs, TN, a son of the late Harvey and Molly Long. He was also preceded in death by his son, Seth Long, and brothers, Mark Long and Stevie Long.

Artie worked as an electrician for more than 28 years; during his career he served with Shaw and Mohawk. He was very strong-willed, head-strong, as those who knew him best would say. If Artie was working on something, he stayed after it until it was done.

He is survived by his special friend, Ann Dalton; sons, Josh Long of Chattanooga, TN, and Adam Long of Chatsworth GA; the mothers of his children, Janie Foster and Sherry Long; brothers and sister-in-law, Randy and Manesa Long of Chatsworth, GA Anthony Long of Dalton, GA; sister, Donna Mulkey and several nieces and nephews.

Per Artie's wishes, he will be cremated.
