Mrs.  Arma Jean Hall, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday afternoon, July 17, 2021 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was born December 2, 1935 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late Lige and Pantha Paige. She was also preceded in death by her husband George Luther Hall, sister Semi Long, great grandchildren Savannah Defore, Ashley Smith.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, George E. and Jakie Hall of Laurinburg, NC, James David and Gail Hall of Rocky Face, GA, William Marion and Tonya Hall of Chatsworth, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Annie Marie and Nick Campos of Dalton, GA, Mary Jean and Lee Simmons of Chatsworth, GA; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Arma Jean Hall will be held Thursday July 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Eddie Bramblett officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the New Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
