Mrs. Arlena Sue Waters, age 65 of Resaca, Georgia, peacefully passed away Wednesday May 12, 2021 in the comfort of her home with her loving family with her as she crossed into Heavens gate. She was born March 4, 1956 in Muncie, Indiana, a daughter of the late Dillard and Pearlie Ross Watson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Leamon Waters, brothers, Carroll Dennis Watson, Jerry Watson, sisters, Jean Dolen, Maxine Crabtree.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Chastity and Robert Pelfrey of Resaca; son and daughter-in-law, Jonah and Jenny Waters of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughter, Brandy Waters of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Jessica, David and Mila Cervantes, Bryce Pelfrey, Cole Pelfrey and Ashton Ensley, Noah, Leamon, Cade, and Will Waters;  brother, Leo Dolen of Strunk, KY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene King of Strunk, KY, Joyce and Mart Gibson of Whitley City, KY, Faye and Jimmy Watson, Misty Beaty of Jamestown, TN, Roger Crabtree of Revelo, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Arlena Sue Waters will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 am from Sugar Valley Baptist Church with Reverend Mitch Phillips officiating.  Mrs. Waters' grandson, Cole Pelfrey, will provide music and her granddaughter Jessica Cervantes will give a memorial.  Following the service she will be laid to rest at Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.  Jonah Waters, Robert Pelfrey, Cole Pelfrey, David Cervantes, Scott Bartenfield, and Michael Crabtree will all serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Sugar Valley Baptist Church.
