Ms. April Nicole Tate, age 42 of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday May 12, 2021 in Dalton, GA. She was born April 17, 1979 in Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her granny, Donna White., nephew, Lee Hufstetler.

She is survived by her parents, Maxine Gentry and Bobby Tate of Calhoun, GA; son, Blaze Tate of Cartersville, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Paula Hufstetler of Calhoun, GA, Farrell Tate and Karame Elrod of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews, Jamie and Chase Carter, Mason Tate, Heath Hufstetler, Savanna Hufstetler, Cheyenne Temple, Anthony Hall; great nephew, Leeland Carter, Karina Hufstetler, Braxton Tate.

Memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. April Nicole Tate will be held Saturday May 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Calhoun Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
