Miss. April Renee Silvers, age 33, of Tunnel Hill, GA, finally met her Daddy at Heavens Gates, Saturday January 2, 2021 at local hospital. She was born April 13, 1987 in Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Fredrick Silver, maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Powell, paternal Jr. and Dot Silvers, uncles, Crawford Powell Jr., Ricky Powell. She was a member of the North Whitfield Baptist Church where she was a part of the youth group. April had a heart of Gold and more love in her heart for people than most people have in a lifetime. She loved her family, friends and her dog Stephan.

She is survived by her mother, Rebecca "Becky" Silvers of the residence; brother, Scott Silvers of Hawaii; grandfather, Crawford Powell Sr. of Tunnel Hill, GA; other mom and dad, Teresa and Lavell Peacock of Fitzgerald, GA; aunts and uncles, Angela Powell and Tim Holcomb of Tunnel Hill, GA, Charlotte Hibbs of Resaca, GA, Steve and Jennifer Silvers of Dalton, GA, Wanda Powell, Tina Davis of Tunnel Hill, GA; several loving cousins/sisters, Amanda and Travis Griffin, Gennie and Chad Knowles; cousins, Johnathan Powell, Bethany Powell, Melissa Lankford, Matt and Brandie Powell, Carrie Gilbert, Amber and Joshua Mull, Lisa and Randy Norton, Jason Farris.

Service to celebrate the life of Miss April Renee Silvers will be held Thursday January 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor JT Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Ronnie Rowe, Charlie Bunch, Will Taylor, Matt Powell, Matthew Powell, Jeremy Worm Layman and Jerry Johnston serving as pallbearers. Travis Griffin, Chad Knowles, Steve Silvers, and Johnathan "John Boy" Powell serving as honorary pallbearers.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
