Ms. April Denise Roper, age 47 of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life Sunday, November 13, 2022. She was born October 13, 1975 in Dalton, GA.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Jean Whitmore of Dalton, GA; Charles and Kathryn Roper of Dalton, GA; Uncle and aunt, David and Diane Whitmore of Dalton, GA; Uncle Anthony Roper of Dalton, GA.

She is survived by her parents, Allen and Laura Roper of Dalton, GA, Regina and Ronnie Burns of Chatsworth, GA; son, James Allen Fugate; daughter, Abby Delores Fugate of Chatsworth, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Brandy Roper of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Rena Roper of Chatsworth, GA, Rebecca and Shawn Taylor of Tunnel Hill, GA, Faye Baker of Chatsworth, GA, Shelley Creek of Cleveland, GA, Cynthia Higgins of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Kayden Speck, Zalia Fugate, Dixie Fugate; special cousin, Calvin Whitmore; several other family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. April Denise Roper will be held Thursday November 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Matthew Harris, Eddie Cochran and Charles Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Dawnville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
