Mrs. Annie Ruth Childers, age 62, of Fairmount, GA, departed this life, Friday December 18, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. Annie was born September 8, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Devy "Shag" Hyde and Ruthell Moss Hyde. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Moss; sister, Shevy Jean Hyde; brothers, Troy and Tony Hyde. Annie was a member of Oakhill Baptist Church, she loved her church family and she loved the Lord.

Mrs. Annie Ruth Childers is survived by her husband of 42 years, James Childers, daughter, Deva and Eric Weaver of Rydal, Ga; grandchildren, which were the love of her life, Destiny and Dillon Weaver.

The service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Annie Ruth Childers will be held, Tuesday December 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Oakhill Baptist Church in Rydal, GA, with the Rev. Reggie Temples officiating. She will be laid to rest at the church cemetery with Bobby Meadows, Brad Jenkins, Ray Jenkins, Rick Luense, Dakota Fortner, Michael Lanier, Jerry Ballew and Ethan Alexander serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Monday December 21, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Ponders Fairmount Chapel.
