Mrs. Anna Lou Essex, age 66, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Tuesday, May 2, 2025, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Anna was born May 5, 1958, in Chattanooga TN, to the late Clerance and Maudie Manning. She is also preceded in death by her husband Warren Essex, Brothers and sisters, Ronnie Manning, Larry Manning, Shirley Manning and Leann Manning.

She is survived by her daughter Cristy Ford of Chatsworth GA, son Gary Neal of Sparta TN, sister Paula Neal of Buffalo NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Shelby Neal, Jessica Neal, Megan Ford, Hunter Smith, and Bryce Smith, great-grandchildren Noel Prigmore, Myzel Sharp and nephew Larry Manning of Etowah TN.

Per her request she will be cremated.
