Ms. Anna Ruth Cofer, age 66, of Chatsworth, GA, departed this life Monday, March 22, 2021 at AdventHealth Gordon. She was born March 18, 1955 in Lenoir City, TN, a daughter of the late William Thomas and Mammie Ann Dunn Shelton.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Wayne and Suzanne Deal of Turtletown, TN; daughters and son-in-law, Melinda Ann Montgomery of Lebanon, TN, Regina LouAnn and Ted Godfrey of Chatsworth, GA, Jessica Deal of Cleveland, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Lee Shelton of Benton, TN; sister, Becky Fountain of Dalton, GA; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At her request she will be cremated and services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to help with expenses.

Due to the national health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
