Mrs. Angelica Gonzalez-Perez, age 50, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Monday evening, April 13, 2026, at Advent Gordon Hospital.

Mrs. Gonzalez-Perez was born April 14, 1975, in Rancho Los Amoles, Guanajuato, Mexico, a daughter of Antonio Gonzalez and the late Isidora Perez. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Angelica was known for her tireless work ethic and the deep love she carried for her family. She made the courageous journey from Mexico to the United States in search of a better life for herself and her children, embracing every opportunity to build a brighter future. She loved this country and took great pride in contributing to her community through her hard work and dedication.

Angelica was employed with Apache Mills, Inc. for over fifteen years, where she was respected for her commitment and perseverance. She was a member of Saint Clement’s Catholic Church. She found great joy in life’s simple blessings—especially time spent outdoors, admiring the beauty of nature. Flowers brought her special happiness, with red roses being her favorite.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Isidora Perez.

She is survived by her loving husband, Luis Felipe Sanchez of the residence; her father, Antonio Gonzalez of Mexico; daughter, Jennie Sanchez-Gonzalez; sons and daughter-in-law, Antonio Adolfo Sanchez, and Jovanni Sanchez and Rosa Martinez; grandson, Izayah Sanchez-Martinez; sisters and brothers, Leticia Gonzalez, Antonia Gonzalez, Brenda Gonzalez, Hector Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez, and Victor Gonzalez, all of Mexico; mother-in-law, Maria Cristina Avila Cortez of Pomona, California; along with several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday morning, April 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Clement’s Catholic Church, 875 Highway 53, Calhoun, Georgia 30701, with Father Vanderley Oliveira officiating. The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with the rosary to be said at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Gonzalez-Perez will be laid to rest in Panteón Municipal Cerecuaro, Yuriria, Guanajuato, Mexico.

La señora Angelica Gonzalez-Perez, de 50 años, de Calhoun, Georgia, falleció la noche del lunes 13 de abril de 2026 en el Hospital Advent Gordon.

La Sra. González-Pérez nació el 14 de abril de 1975 en el Rancho Los Amoles, Guanajuato, México, hija de Antonio González y la fallecida Isidora Pérez. Esposa, madre, hija y hermana entregada, Angelica era conocida por su incansable ética de trabajo y el profundo amor que sentía por su familia. Realizó el valiente viaje desde México hasta Estados Unidos en busca de una vida mejor para ella y sus hijos, aprovechando cada oportunidad para construir un futuro más brillante. Amaba este país y sentía un gran orgullo por contribuir a su comunidad a través de su esfuerzo y dedicación.

Angelica trabajó en Apache Mills, Inc. durante más de quince años, donde fue respetada por su compromiso y perseverancia. Era miembro de la iglesia católica de San Clemente. Encontraba gran alegría en las bendiciones sencillas de la vida—especialmente en el tiempo que pasaba al aire libre, admirando la belleza de la naturaleza. Las flores le traían una felicidad especial, siendo las rosas rojas sus favoritas.

La precede en la muerte su amada madre, Isidora Pérez.

Le sobreviven su querido esposo, Luis Felipe Sánchez de la residencia; su padre, Antonio González de México; su hija, Jennie Sánchez-González; hijos y nuera, Antonio Adolfo Sánchez, y Jovanni Sánchez y Rosa Martínez; su nieto, Izayah Sánchez-Martínez; hermanas y hermanos, Leticia González, Antonia González, Brenda González, Héctor González, René González y Víctor González, todos de México; su suegra, María Cristina Ávila Cortez, de Pomona, California; junto con varios sobrinos y sobrinas que atesorarán su memoria.

Se celebrará una misa de funeral cristiano el jueves por la mañana, 23 de abril de 2026, a las 10:00 a.m. en la iglesia católica de Saint Clement, 875 Highway 53, Calhoun, Georgia 30701, con el padre Vanderley Oliveira oficiando. La familia recibirá a los amigos en la capilla Ponders Calhoun el miércoles de 17:00 a 21:00, con el rosario rezado a las 19:00.

La señora González-Pérez será enterrada en el Cerecuaro Municipal de Panteón, Yuriria, Guanajuato, México.
