Mr. Andres Soto, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the local hospital. He was born October 23, 1948 in San Lucas de O'Campo, Durango, Mexico, a son of the late Manuel Soto and Maria De La Cruz Soto. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Margarita Garcia Soto, who died October 11, 2018, a grandson, Emiliano Lopez and infant brother, Andres Soto, brother, Jose Soto, and sisters, Elissa Soto, Flora Soto, Maria Soto, and Vicenta Soto.

Andres worked for over thirty years at Mohawk Industries and was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Andres Soto, Rafael and Corina Soto; daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Jose Castillo, Rosario and Luis Magana, Isabel Pimentel, and Amanda and Spencer Singleton;

grandchildren, Elissa Lopez, Joshua Magana, Louis Magana, Andrea Pimentel, Miguel Pimentel, Lily Pimentel, Daniel Pimentel, Abram Pimentel, Emerie Soto, Austin Soto, Ivanah Soto, Stella Soto, Aliyah Soto and Olivia Soto; great-grandchildren, Sebastian Martinez, Ezequiel Martinez, Mathias Palacios, Arlo Chaplin and Elias Palacios all of Dalton, GA; brothers, Guillermo Soto of Mexico, and Manuel Soto of Dalton, GA; sister, Margarita Soto of Mexico; several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, November 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Salomon Garcia officiating. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with his sons and grandson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 10:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
