Ms. Amy Charlene Mull Elrod, age 35, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Monday, October 12, 2020 at the local hospital.  Amy was born December 13, 1984 in Dalton, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Walter Mull and her grandparents, Harold and Glenda Bartlett and Walter and Ruby Mull. Amy was a member of the Maranatha Church of Jesus Christ in Jasper, Georgia.

She is survived by her mother, Tammy Charlene Bartlett Mull of Dalton, GA; special aunt, Helen Marie Mull of Ballground, GA; sisters, Brittany Shankles of Adairsville, GA, and Ashley Marie Silvers of Dalton, GA; daughter, Kaitlin Elrod; sons, Steven Elrod and Tyler Elrod; two grandchildren; special friend, Steve Bates of Rocky Face, GA; several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Amy Charlene Mull Elrod will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning, October 17, 2020 at Ponders Melrose Chapel with her pastor, Reverend Johnny Hollingshead officiating.  She will be laid to rest with her family at Fidelle Cemetery in Gordon County, Georgia, with Mark Shankles, Chandler Shankles, Leroy Epperson, Chuck Wells, Jason Silvers and Jacob Sauceda honored to serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
