Mrs. Ammogene Ralston Raburn, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, April 8, 2017. Ammogene was born July 7, 1934 in Gordon County, GA, a daughter of the late Charney Wade and Violet Dalton Ralston. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Ernest Raburn, brothers, Alan, Jimmy, and Joe Ralston, sisters, Flora Mae Bishop, Christine Kirk.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Quinton and Melissa Raburn, Brent Raburn of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Barney Presley of Dalton, GA, Angie and Antonio Cappellazzo of Ft. Oglethorpe; brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy Ralston of Tunnel Hill, GA, David and Debbie Ralston of Cedartown, GA; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Ammogene Ralston Raburn will be held Tuesday April 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Tony Robertson officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
