Mr. Alvin Allen Cronan age 61 of Cohutta, GA, departed the life Friday August 2, 2019 at the local hospital. He was born August 7, 1957 in Dalton, GA a son of the late Calvin and Cora Lee Stanley Cronan. He was also preceded in death by his son, Daniel Cronan, brothers Edward Cronan, Ronald Cronan, sister, Sandra Faye Mantooth, sister-in-law, Sheila Cronan.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Cronan of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Lea Cronan , Jeremy and Jessica Cronan, Nicholas Cronan of Cohutta, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Wanda Cronan of Cohutta, GA, Avery and Lisa Cronan of Resaca, GA; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Alvin Allen Cronan will be held Friday August 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Blake Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in the Boyd Cemetery with Tanner Cronan, Hunter Cronan, Malachi Henderson, Roman Henderson, Andy Cronan and Rodney Cronan serving as pallbearers. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
