Mrs. Altagracia Maria Hernandez 92, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Friday February 21, 2020 at her daughter's home in Douglasville, GA. Altagracia was born July 9, 1927, in the Dominican Republic, the daughter of the late, Isaias Sanchez and Daniela Hernandez.

Mrs. Altagracia Maria Hernandez is survived by her daughters, Gilsia Pujadas Hernandez (Manuel), Lily Pujadas (Juan), Sarah Pujadas; grandchildren, Adansi Geronimo, Christina Torres, Ilka Murray, Carlos Torres, Nathalie Whittman, Melanie Czaykowsky; great-grandchildren, Marc Anthony Geronimo, Spc. Elijah Geronimo, Kizzy Geronimo, Jasena Murray, Mya Jade Murray, Roderick Murray, Riley Murray, Jordan Torres, Roman Torres and Grant Whittman.

Mass of Christian Burial for Altagracia will take place Thursday February 27, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel, with Father Salomon Garcia officiating. Interment will follow at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday February 24, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
