Mrs. Alma Jane Bandy Bennett, age 77, of Calhoun, Georgia, departed this life Monday, December 4, 2023, 2023 at the Floyd Medical Center. She was born January 12, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN a daughter of late John Parm and Letha Ientha Holt Bandy. She was also preceded in death  by her husband James Bennett, brother Tommy Bandy, sister Dorothy Harris. She enjoyed her family, friends and many hobbies.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Troy Edward and Wendye Lusk of Soddy Daisy, TN, Fred Roy and Melissa Bennett of Calhoun, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sondra and Wesly Self of Ringgold, GA; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three nieces.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Alma Bennett will be held Thursday December 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pierce Cemetery in Evensville, TN with Pastor Jeff Myers officiating. The family will receive friends at the Ponders Calhoun Chapel on Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband..
