Mrs. Allene F. Brewer, age 87 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Friday January 31, 2020 at Morningside of Dalton. She was born July 23, 1932 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Henry and Arbie Chance Bartenfield. She was also preceded in death by her husband, JD Brewer, son-in-law, Trammell Ault, brothers, Glenn Henry Bartenfield, John A. Bartenfield, Jewel Bartenfield, sisters, Mary Woods, Birdie Bowers, twin sister, Lorene Valdez.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Trena Brewer of Dalton, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Jack Seter of Granite Falls, NC, Debbie Norton of Dalton, GA; Jenny and Randy Johnson of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Lucille Owens of Jefferson, GA; grandchildren, Nicole and Blake Baldridge, Brent and Erin Ault, Zach and Andrea Brewer, Michaela Blankenship and Blake Opperman; great grandchildren, Karsen, Cooper, Kaelin, Ethan, Zanna, Eason; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Allene F. Brewer will be held Monday February 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Antioch Cemetery with Blake Baldridge, Blake Opperman, Zake Brewer, Brent Ault, Joseph Brewer and Jeremy Brewer serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
