Mr. Allen Earl Lyons , age 84, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life, Tuesday Morning, October 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born October 19, 1936 in Tampa, FL, a son of the late Earl Terrell and Willie Thelma Boatwright Lyons, sons, Terrell Allen Lyons, Eric Wilton Lyons.

He joined the Army in 1956 becoming part of the 101 ^st Airborne division and served until 1958. He worked for Kroger Corp. running and opening SuperX Drug Stores from 1963 to 1970 until the Lord called him into service. He was ordained as a Sovereign Grace Baptist Minister in 1978 and Pastored at Temple Baptist Church in Arcadia, FL from 1978 until 2003 when he semi-retired. He was then called to Pastor Grace Baptist Church in Fairmount, GA from 2007 until 2018 when he retired.

He is survived by his wife, Sharyn Fales Lyons of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Richard Bullard of Savannah, TN; stepchildren, Jon and Bobbi Henry of Douglasville, GA, Tressa and Jon Janos-Staff of Inglewood, FL, Petrina and Justin Carlton of Puntagorda, FL; brother, Albert Lyons; sister, Ruth Smith of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Richard Bullard Jr. and wife Kara, James Bullard and wife Cissy, Jason Bullard and wife Beca, Bridget Harrelson and husband Will, Angie Jane Clopton; great grandchildren, Christopher Henry, Mackenzie Henry, Kaley Spicer and husband Ronald "Colton", Avery Carlton, Kasyn Carlton, Delaney Carlton; great great grandchildren, Trinity, Sierra, Kolten, Leslie, Rickki, Carey, Landon, Chase, Kaiylyn, Ashlynn, Kaylee, Jason, Jr. Dane, Elizabeth, Jacob, Kiara, Chevy, Isabella, Mathew, Zane, Griffin, Axel, Carleigh, Blake, Adalei; sisters-in-law, Lucille Fales of Tennessee, Carolyn Lee Fales of Arcadia, FL; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Allen Earl Lyons will be held Friday, October 15, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church (358 Calhoun Street, Fairmount, GA, 30139). He will be laid to rest at Johnson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ponders Fairmount Chapel, Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
