Allen Cash passed away on March 30, 2019. He was born on August 3, 1947 in Munich, Germany to Joseph and Miriam Cash while Joseph was an Army Master Sergeant stationed in Germany in World War II. They returned to Chattanooga in 1948. He attended Missionary Ridge Elementary, Brainerd Junior High, graduating from Brainerd High in 1966. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, in the Caribbean and was honorably discharged in 1969.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Shari Zion Cemetery on Thursday, April 4th at 310 Rowe Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

After returning to Chattanooga, Allen started a contracting, painting, and window washing business which he maintained until he retired.

Allen was known for his dry sense of humor, his love of the outdoors, wild animals and plants and his knowledge of the forests and wetlands around Tennessee & Georgia. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
