Mrs. Alice Faye Blackwell, age 75, of Ranger, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her daughter's residence surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born August 1, 1941 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, a daughter of the late John Floyd and Eva Rouse Williams.

She is survived by husband, John Paul Blackwell of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Sandra Messex of Calhoun, GA, Darlene and Danny Childers of Ranger, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Rickey Carnes of Fairmount, GA, Michael and Kyla Blackwell of St. Marys, KS; brothers and sister-in-law, Floyd and Peggy Williams, David Williams all of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Miranda and Jake Stowers, Dustin and Wendy Patterson, Bernadette and John Mueller, Catherine Blackwell, Raymond Blackwell, Faustina Blackwell, Justina Blackwell, Bernard Blackwell, Genevieve Blackwell, Sebastian Blackwell, Gianna Blackwell and Michael Blackwell; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Christian Stephens, Briley and Maisie Jenkins and Sawyer Patterson; several nieces and nephews.
