Mr. Alfred Joe "Junior" Langham, Jr., age 82, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, November 23, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Junior was born April 23, 1943, in Dalton, Georgia, a son of the late Alfred Joe and Lois Lorene Talley Langham, Sr.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Tracey Langham, his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Calvin "Tommy" and Betty Langham,  father-in-law, Floyd Eugene Pollard, brothers-in-law, James Mitchell Ellison, and Tim Newburn.

Junior attended North Whitfield High and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and retired from Citizens Carpet Services.

During his years before retirement, Junior was on the roads as a truck driver. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping were his favorites. But above all, he adored his family. He never failed to bring a much needed smile or laugh to the people he loved. His family will cherish all of our fondest memories with Junior, for generations to come.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Kathy Pollard Langham of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Steven Snyder of Chatsworth, GA; grandchildren, McKenzie Southerland, and Madison and Alex Holbrook; great-grandson, Oliver Holbrook; sister, Peggy Ellison of Dalton, GA; special cousins who was more like a sister, Rita and Mike Parker of Ringgold, GA; mother-in-law, Katherine Pollard of Dalton, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Jimmy Ledford of Chatsworth, GA, Annette Newburn of Houston, TX, and Ronald Pollard of Florence, AL; aunt, Eulene Talley of Dalton, GA; several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Alfred Joe "Junior" Langham will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Billy Willis and Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. Music will be arranged by Reverend Randy PostellHe will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimmy Ellison, Joseph Ellison, Kross Langham, Brett Langham, Alex Holbrook and Steven Snyder honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday until the service hour..
