Mr. Alexander Valance "Alex" Bryant, age 24, of Rocky Face, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, July 17, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

To know Alex was to love Alex. He had the most infectious smile that touched and blessed so many. Alexander Valance Bryant was born on April 5, 1999, to O.J. and Shelly Bryant, in Calhoun Georgia. "Alex" was raised in a loving home where Faith and Family were a priority. Though he was impacted at an early age by a life threating and debilitating illness he was able to remain in school and graduated from Dalton High School in 2018. After High School "Alex" remained at home with his family and continued to enjoy life.

In his younger years he was able to enjoy life to the fullest, taking trips with his family. Alex enjoyed camping, going to the beach, swimming, and most of all listening to his favorite movies and music. His love of music was so profound that there was not a song that he did not know (according to him). One of his greatest joys was going to church with his parents and he was always the biggest praiser in the building. After not being able to get to church anymore he would still listen to service via Zoom and he praised from his bed. There is no doubt that Alex was anointed and his life was absolutely a ministry. He embodied 2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight". Truth be told Alex was always able to see far greater than all of us!

Alex gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Sonoraville Tabernacle Baptist Church where he became and remained a member for the rest of his days.

Alex's bright and beautiful smile will be implanted in the memories of people all around the world and mostly in the hearts of his parents and siblings. We should all have learned from Alex to live life with joy and happiness and without complaint and most of all with an unbiased loved for all people.

Alex was preceded in death by his grandparents Sally Bryant and Brad Moss. Alex leaves to honor his memory his loving parents O.J. & Shelly Bryant; sisters, Nikki Moss and Adrianna Bryant; brother, Kobe Bryant; grandparents, William Bryant, Alejandro Lopez, and Sarah Moss; aunts; Cheryl Alexander, Michelle Gregoire, Suzanne Gregoire, and Patricia Craig; uncles, Jason Bryant and Angel Lopez (also known as "Alex's Person"); a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Alexander Valance "Alex: Bryant will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.  He will be laid to rest with his family at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and Monday and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the service hour.
