Alejandro Saez Castillo, 86, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this April 10, 2018 in Fort Oglethorpe.

He was born in Santis Espiritus, Cuba, on December 28, 1931 a child of the late Clotildo and Marcella Saez Castillo.

Alejandro had come to the United States 13 years ago from Cuba.   In Cuba, he was a self-employed Agricultural worker.  He was a member of Iglesia Misioera De Dalton Church in Dalton, Georgia.

He is survived by his daughters,  Maribel Castillo Herrera of Dalton, Georgia, Nelida Castillo Herrera of Chatsworth, Georgia, and Rosa Castillo of Cuba; his son, Nelson Castillo of Miami, Florida; brothers, Pedro Castillo of Miami, Florida, and Mamerto Castillo of Colorado; special friends, Eulalia Valdivia of Michigan; several nieces, nephews, and many more friends and family in the United States and Cuba also survive.

At this time, to follow Alejandro's wishes, he will be cremated.  The family will take the cremains to Cuba where he will be laid to rest.
