Little Adrian Cruz, age 1, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Adrian was born on February 7, 2024, in Dalton, GA.

He was the shining light to his loving parents and grandparents and could brighten any room with his beautiful smile. Adrian loved spending time with his family watching his favorite shows — Bluey, Cars, and The Backyardigans.

Adrian is survived by his loving parents, Jason Cruz and Jennifer Hernandez of Dalton, GA; grandparents Honorata Resendiz and Flor Gonzalez of Dalton, GA; aunts Julie Hernandez, Leesly Hernandez, and Amaia Gonzalez, all of Dalton, GA; and uncle Diego Cruz of Dalton, GA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Ignacio Peres officiating. Little Adrian will be laid to rest at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Park and Mausoleum with Jason Cruz, Chito Gonzalez, Diego Cruz, and Cesar Gonzalez honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
